Music video inspiration

Before acutually making the video I  had to plan what iwas i wanted to do and what i awanted my video to look like.


Alicia keys - No one 

I watched the video which was directed by  Justin Francis who has worked with the likes of, Kelly Clarkson, Nicole Scherzinger, Modest Mouse ,Trey Song etc . I really liked this video as it was very simple and it follows Goodwin's theory  as it show the star quality , voyeurism and realtionship between the song  and the visuals. 

Again beyonce song ft usher Naughty girl   also uses goodwins theory.

Although these videos are R&B and are very effective i chose not use everything in these video in my own as i found that  the females lacked allot of clothing and my actor was not comfortable doing so. 

So i chose to follow the direction of Tamar braxton video -She can have  you.

in this video the artist is recording sitting down on a soa at home sining about her fail realtionship. She is not lacking anyclothing but we can still tell the genre of the msuic video
